Vote for Tito

Don't let the name scare you. Tito's may be dollar-for-dollar the best vodka today. Not the best period. But we're talking about a vodka that sets you back $13 to $14.

Its secret is that it's distilled in a copper pot, like a brandy. Usually the intention of vodka makers is to strive for purity, filtering out anything that create that nasty burn or skank the taste. Think of what's done in the name of bottled water.

Pot distilling leaves the flavors in, so the natural taste of the grains are captured in the vodka.

To describe Tito's, I feel compelled to use the word mouthfeel. It's like that added element in ketchup that gives it its volume. Tito's is delicious and tasty, without getting fussy.

Tito may be the least popular Jackson brother, but he sure makes a great vodka -- at an unbelievable price.
